Manager, Special Initiatives/Sponsor Relations Safe Kids Worldwide
Wes Bender is a certified child passenger safety technician and CPS Instructor. He coordinates national projects and initiatives for the Safe Kids Buckle Up program, the most comprehensive child passenger safety program in the nation. Wes works with program sponsor GM Foundation and other corporate partners to promote education and awareness of keeping kids safe in and around motor vehicles, using public events and national conferences as a venue to reach parents and caregivers.
Based in Los Angeles, CA, Wes joined Safe Kids Worldwide in 2001. He has more than 25 years of emergency services and injury prevention experience, having spent more than 15 years as faculty teaching at the University of Maryland prior to joining Safe Kids.
